But there was nothing to base that applause on in past years. Now we have changed many things from engineers to crew to factory workers and also our lead driver. So now we have reasons to be happy with progress because it won't necessarily mean backwards. I say that testing is meaningless, but I think it is okay to see the positive trends.

A fan took this video of Mr. Vettel's fastest lap. Look at our car go on track, she is so beautiful and looks more stable comparing to our F14T:

They're just sand-bagging so no one realises just how devastatingly fast they are!

This must be true because the experts on Fchat have already stated how Honda are the Masters of everything that relates to F1 turbo engines based on their previous F1 turbo engines from 27 years ago, and how they are going to turn the modern turbo era on its head, so well played Fernando!, So far you're succeeding just as planned! - Unlike that plank Vettel doing 10 times as many laps and going fastest overall! - What a loser!

I watched these a few times now. That is an infinitely more stable looking car than F14t. Super sharp turn in although that second to final turn in the first video he lost a bit, but clearly he was pushing a bit. Very nice job so far Ferrari. Lots on the table with that car in terms of development.

That being said, NONE of the power units come so clean on the power as W06. That car will dominate.

Common guys. It's just testing. I couldn't care less if Ferrari are the fastest and crowned Testing Champions.

Its the real thing that counts

Lotus has hit the ground falling over endlessly.

Put it on the plane a bit late yesterday so arrived too late. For some reason it will run earliest on Tuesday.

    Lol.

Vettel on a 23.0 atm, hopefully he can break the 120 lap barrier today.

Vettel seems to get along with the car quite good so far, just posted a 21.8...the more I look at the car I do have some hope for this season...They won't be challenging for the title but I think they might well be consistent contenders for podiums.

Seems I was a tad early mocking Lotus, as it's out on track now.

Looking good for SF so far, could be a legit contender to Mercedes.
    Williams looks promising as well.

Force India is not testing till the next test session, correct?

Geez that Lewis character is slow! Everyone else is 1.5 second faster today than yesterday's times.

Until now, it looks like Seb has done the right move by joining the Scuderia! Let's hope we see the same results in racing. But very sorry for poor Fernando: once again, he seems to have gone to the wrong team at the wrong time.

Hey, not so fast... Remember that in 2013 preseason the Red Bull kept catching fire for weeks but it was a quite decent car later.

What already seems pretty clear right now is that Mercedes is going to be kicking ass again.

Lotus has already achieved 5 times the laps of McLaren... And it is a neat looking car.

Sauber is 8 sec faster than their fastest Jerez lap in 2014! I hope they will see a much improved season.

It's only testing but it seems that Ferrari has made a big step forward-but is it enough? We will find out in Australia.

Edit: just saw a comment from Esteban Guitierrez that the Initial impressions of the new car is good. Maybe we will grab more podiums that last year....

As everyone is saying, teting doesn't mean much...but last year everyone could see from the first days that Merc was the team to beat....this year Ferrari pu seems to be a lot better ....this could all end in tears but i see no reason why Ferrari hasn't build a decent car.

Solid laps and Seb keeps getting faster - good trends. Appreciate the videos from people - very cool.
