According to Stefano, you have Kimi and Fred's strengths and weaknesses reversed. Explaining why he hired Fred, Stefano had this to say (with comment from Tony Wilander as well):

All of them have gone now, though. The car didn't really go anywhere. Alonso drove the wheels of it. From the articles you've copied it seems Alonso is highly regarded as a test/development driver. Doesn't make Kimi any less of one, though. Coulthard, Allison, Withmarsh + others have all said the same about Kimi and his feedback, it's quite remarkable. I find Domenicalli's words a bit odd, it's fairly well documented that Kimi is actually very specific in his needs in his car, yet domenicalli says he isn't a perfectionist.
Being very specific in what kind of car you need to be successful isn't necessarily the same as being a perfectionist. It just means you have a much narrower car type that you can use. And to be clear it was Domenicali that said Kimi's fast but not very communicative. Wilander made the comments about Kimi not being a leader or perfectionist and not being willing to visit the factory often.
