Lauda trying to motivate Merc as he sees Ferrari as a threat this year: Lauda puts on red sweater for Ferrari 'surprise' | News | Motorsport.com
Kvyat damages front wing and RB has no spare on hand... Apparently Red Bull does not give you wings, if your Kvyat Kvyat clips wall and drives with no front wing | Grand Prix 247
on softs. seb did his fastest on medium compounds. I watched a few videos of on youtube of the ferrari car, it looks to be more pointy in turns and on exits, which bodes very well for both drivers in the handling dept. As for sheer performance, i think it's yet to be determined how quick the car really is, but like every year, I am almost always optimistic for #teamred.
Nice testing review thus far - Ferrari are back? Mercedes too conservative?? The talking points from the Jerez test | Features & Experts | Sky Sports Formula 1
Groundhog day all over again for the tifosi. If only Championships were decided on pre-season testing and fridays. I think as some feel the need to sandbag, some others know this is the only opportunity to let their sponsors shine...
Fiat could have let James Allison go to his hiding place early last year when it became clean ldm and his people where going to be asked to leave . Impo fiat very early last year just decided to mail it in 14 and try to put things right in 15 . If they can get back to .5 behind the silver cars it's a epic win for them
Is that confirmed? I thought they both ran softs at one point no? Yah - too early to tell. I just like the attitude of everyone involved at Ferrari right now.
Seb medium Kimi soft. Agree re attitude. Allison is doing good work-the car must be brilliant as Kimi actually said more than 5 words about it.....
Thanks fellas! LOL @ Kimi comment. I agree - this is the most I've seen him speak. I like Maurizio also. At least he seems to be saying all the right things and carrying himself the correct way. They sure don't mind insulting last year's car and team - LOL.
Mclaren are looking absolutely terrible! Poor alonso. As soon as he leaves ferrari get their **** together.
Yeah the engine looks completely 100% undriveable. What's astonishing is they have had literally years to test this thing on a dyno and run chassis and traction simulations. This is a colossal failure on Honda's part not having a at least somewhat driveable drivetrain. Laughable isn't the word.
See Renault and red bull 2014. Only people to win a race other than mercedes and they bombed in testing.
Yes but RB already had a very solid car and it was the PU that let them down. That's probably what enabled them to be able to win races (and mercs bad luck). The mclaren chassis and aero weren't good last year. They were nowhere last year with merc power. Bad car + bad PU. I don't share the same level of optimism. Their huge budget will allow some comeback by the end of the season but really isn't much hope for them. Honda should've tried harder
Having watched the first round of testing, I have an inkling of 2009 .... and we are Brawn Yeah baby !!!
