    Its like the 348->355 (or 360->430) transition.

    Chassis upgrades, engine upgrades, interior tweak; ship it.

    ok thanks guys.....there were couple of other threads on the matter but they were pretty long and i couldn't find the exact answer....i thought it was going to be like similar to the CaliT.....just a facelift and an engine upgrade...oh wait..that's what it is....Ferrari just has a better marketing strategy by giving the facelifted model with a new engine (not as an option i concur!) a new name altogether.....

    Funny how the Huracan is a new car around an old engine, and the 488 is a new engine in an old car...

    Completely new AWD system, completely new DCT, Al/CF hybrid chassis, 100% new interior. I'd say it's at least as new as the 488.

    I'd say its styling is equally as derivative as the 488.

    Too true . this is exactly what I feel about it ! 488 is supposed to be a new model unlike Cali T which is still a Cali ! you can fit the panels of 488 to a 458 to make it look like 488 . Probably , not a bad idea , as I will then have a 488 with a bigger NA engine !
