Tail lights look weird - was that a set up on any of the cars?

I would like to see MFH make a modern sports race car in 1/12.

That would be awesome! Would like to see Tamiya do something from this century too.

Wich cars do you all like the best?? I am not a big fan of the new Audi's and Porsche's of late as they have gone on an ugly streak, although they might make good models due to the technology underneath. Some of the production based sportscar might also be good. I see NISMO will debut their new prototype at the CAS this week so there is a push to get them more mainstream again by Japanese manufactures.

I'd be happier with a GTLM car over a prototype I think. A DBR9 would be cool too. Even going back as far as the Bentley Speed 8 would be nice in the prototype arena.

Some day in the future, you will be able to pay for a schematic file of your choice, then pay to have someone print you a kit and ship it to your door. Or, download a file and print it on your desktop yourself.

We talked about that a few pages back. As long as the file is accurate that could be great. It will allow alot of cars to be made, but it won't be as cheap as a plastic kit due to printing costs and the limited numbers being made. More in line I think with resin kit costs unfortunatly.

    Indeed. Or actually higher costs.

Just look at what things cost on sites like shapeways. And there is a reason for it: Not only is the equipment expensive (much more than resin); it also takes forever to print a single piece.

3D printing will be a great alternative, but only for stuff you can't get through other means.

Who makes kits in 1/43 of newer road Ferrari's these days? Does BBR even make kits anymore?

I saw AutoArt is releasing a BAC Mono diecast. Any idea on when the release is?

I keep seeing February, but am not holding my breath with a week left in the month...

Next Ferrari kit in 1/12th scale from Model Factory Hiro I think will be a 126CK due in March.

For the Air Trax 1/24th Triumph model send an email to Tapani from Air Trax:

We should get this 1/12th scale Ferrari P3 1966 Sebring in kit form soon. I pulled these photos off Patrick Badot's facebook. Amazing detail. Also a 860 built up in 1/8th scale also from Mini Delta. One of the best in the business!!

This kind of quality takes time. You won't see this type of accuracy or detail in a high end diecast model. The quality diecast companies always make alot of mistakes.
