hi six months ago a dealer had one with 98500 miles and said it run like new it sold for 51.000 k.jba auto sale .
J.G., I'm curious, how do you drive so many miles with the amount of snow you get every year? Europeans will always beat Americans on this one. -F
Yes, we do have snow in the winter here furmano. But we can drive from april to october. So i guess we drive alot when we can. I did see a picture of a norwegian driving a 458 in the snow last week. Its normal to see 911 in the winther, but not Ferrari You have snow in Colorado too?
350K kilometres and going strong--gave it to my nephew to take to university last fall. Last summer he drove it from London to Greece and back (with my blessing)
Bebs on the UK Pistonheads forum had 101,000 miles on his Modena last October.. convertible ferrari - what to buy for 50 - 90k?? - PistonHeads Sure to be more now... almost all that mileage was done by him as well if I remember correctly!
Yes we have snow in CO. I can drive from around May to October. I have other things going on too so I don't get to drive my Ferrari very often. -F
that was probably mine. A silver '02 360. I put on about 17k mi/yr for 5 yrs as DD and wk end fun machine in the SF bay area. I traded it for a 430 about 8 months ago when it had about 98K on it.
thats was it he said had a brand new clutch i think the guy who owns the dealer ship was name jake i talk to him he said the best he can do is 50k the car looked great .
I've got an 04 Spider in New Zealand that had a 'sister' car imported at the same time (same spec). In 2010 that vehicle had over 90,000 Kms. I'm unsure how many it has now but I'd be seriously surprised if it isn't well over 100kms
I was at SF Motorsports last week picking up my Masi and I saw 2 x 360's with the engines out, I asked one of the mechanics what happened, he said one of the engines "blew" because the seals had dried up, long story short it needed a $25k rebuild at only 55,000 miles. He said it was from "lack of service" - the owner ignored servicing it properly at the right intervals etc for the timing belt and tensioners among other things. The other engine had issues stemming from the oil/heat exchanger thingy... *He also remind me these engine are bored out and are pushed to their limits. He said 60k miles is like 150k on a normal engine. Basically get ready for a very steep bill if you plan on keeping your 360 to/past 60,000 miles. **MY QP S just hit 52,000 and runs like new!
And yet how is it that all those who have evidence of higher mileage 360s in this thread do not have rebuilds ? Oh and on that basis your QP engine should have already needed its rebuild being an even larger version of the same
