I sent an email asking for price. If they respond, I'll let all know.
Not sure I would call it a big issue but the rocker panel below the doors should be black. Very nice looking vehicle!
Sorry for the double post above. Early 83QV upper rockers were body color except for the lowest part underneath much like the 308 from 82 and earlier. I have a twin to this car just a little earlier VIN and few less miles. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you look at the pic with the front bonnet open it should be painted black where the wipers attach. No big deal as long as it's just fresh paint and not fresh sheet metal as well.......😉 I was gonna find out how much they want but if I were to hazard a guess I would say between 60k to 70k. They're not shy but generally have real nice cars.
My wife owns 46417 but hers is a euro. The pictured car looks really good. I wonder what the price difference would be between US spec and euro, everything else equal? Thoughts or recent data anyone?
Wow! I have an 83 308 QV as well that I will be posting soon. I will only be asking $58,000 with 45,000 miles. Full hsitory and ALL original. I guess I'm priced way too low. M.
I'd have to see it to see if the mileage is actually that low. Most of these cars had the Speedo broken at one point and "some" were never fixed. Mine hasn't had that issue. I'd rather put a realistic price than ask for the moon. Although, most of Marshall's cars are like that.
Thank you! And boy was I off on the asking price....! What the car will really sell for will be determined by how much the phone rings..... A 10k 85 sold at auction for 71k incl buyers premium, maybe that was yesterdays price, time will tell spring is 5 weeks away. "Too cheap for too long".....
10K mile and ... prugna. I would guess this one goes somewhere in the $70K range -- right color, nice mileage.
That's right prugna. This car may do around 70k. Agreed. They could hold this car for a few months to try to maximize and perhaps turn down some pretty good offers in the interim. Car like that one don't become "aged" inventory..! Too nice a car with unusually low miles.
With the auction market just heating up and the Spring sales rush beginning soon, I thought it would be nice to closely follow the 308, 308 GT4, and 328 markets by listing not only what's coming up for sale but what has recently sold. Please feel free to add any forthcoming auction listing or any sales results that you would like to share. First of all sorry the seller never returned my call maybe because he knew I live close to him and that I can easily go over and look at the car. Anyway today I though I'll call him one more time and the recording message says "if you're calling about the 308, it has been sold and the deal has been done" so I left another message to call me as I have some question about the car and want to know who the new owner is but I doubt he'll call back, if he does, I'll let you guys know.
