    The song Panama has eddie vanhalens ferrari reving during a portion of the song, wondering what model it is? The car would have to be from the eighties I would think. I saw the video on pop-up video years ago which is my source for the car being eddies ferrari.

    Paul, according to popular lore, the car was a Lamborghini, not a Ferrari. Checking the Lamborghini registry, it looks like Eddie might have, at one time or another, owned Miura P400S s/n 4701 and Countach LP400S s/n 1121010. Not sure which he could've owned when that song was recorded in 1983 or if either was used in the recording.

    +1....Eddie Van Halen is a Lambo afficionado, always has been.....Sammy Hagar was the Ferrari-guy of the group, although Michael Anthony owns a 512 BBi and a 550 Maranello.

    And here i thought eddie had a Boxer :( instead he has a crappy lambo, lol. I want an LP400 myself but it wont happen in this lifetime.

    Sort of off-topic, but I saw Van Halen play last night at the United Center in Chicago. They played Panama, among other pre-Sammy Hagar classics, and sounded better than ever.

    I know Eddie used to have a Countach, cause I remember seeing him on TV talking about how it broke down, and so he just left it on the side of the road.

    I believe that Eddie's wife bought him that Lambo Muira. She bought it before the 1st serious appreciation of market value of that car.

    Eddie Van Halen confirms that the exhaust sound he recorded on Panama was of his Lamborghini..... not a Countach but his beloved 1972 Miura S (which he still owns today).

    On Sammy Hagar's Video "I Can't Drive 55" a lot of the onboard camera shots are of a 308 QV.
