i am looking to buy a 360 manual transmission. Been searching for several months. Ideally I would like Grigio Silverstone with black or Cuoio, but I am running out of patience, so I am eyeballing the black cuoio manual at automotive excellence. Dealership has bad reputation on a few threads, but that doesn't necessarily mean that particular car is bad.

Any info on that car or advice or leads on my ideal car would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the quick replies...
The Carfax says no salvage on their website. I was wondering if anyone has had it inspected or knew if it was abused etc.
Been following the thread on gated coupes. I am hoping something pops up.

    That's a really early build.
Check for recalls as part of the s/records - first batches had a number of gremlins

I don't like the cheap and nasty tires on the car, they would need to be changed straight away.

Dealer will have list of all recalls for that model, and with VIN can call up records to show which have been done.(excluding indys) Assume not done unless you see it in writing. Also note other threads re headers etc. And (I agree on the tyres too. need to get your calculator out.....

Kuhmo ASX appears to be NLA in this size, so these may be old, cheap and nasty. :D

I would look at the DOT date to be sure. If they're not old, then you could certainly do worse.

Replacement set of tires will run north of $1000 in the right compound. P Zero appears to be $1500.

The Michelin Pilot Sport is a great alternative to the PZeros and much cheaper.

When you have cheap tires in a Ferrari (one of the most important components in a car and even more in a sports car) you can have an idea the kind of maintenance it had, maybe the dealer got it like that or maybe they put those cheap tires, whichever the option is bad or worse, A) previous owner didn't spend proper money on maintenance (bad) or B) dealer just want to do a quick flip, so imagine how good the major service they performed is (the one that by the way they are not guaranteeing) worse

For me, the red flag is all the work the car has had done. Brakes, clutch, flywheel, etc. My car has 23,000 miles and has not required any of that stuff (did do the trans mount).

To me, this says the car was driven very hard by previous owner(s).

    What is the ask price?

Sometimes it's a skill issue, not a hard driving issue.

When I bought my 360 it had 20K+ miles on it. The clutch had been replaced at 17K miles, and the dealer put new brakes on it for me when I bought it.

We had to put some work into the suspension as well, actuators I think.

These are not easy cars to drive, and lack of skill, combined with 400HP and a relatively small clutch surface can easily cook it off in less than 20,000 miles.

I'd want to see ALL the available service records. Good maintenance would weigh more heavily for me than a worn out clutch and brakes.

Great info and analysis. Finding that ideal 360 is hard. You dont know if all the work was done out of an "excess of caution" or because the car was trashed. Ugg.

I would be compromising a little on color (I love the silverstone grey), so I don't have any sense of urgency for that particular car. I also toy with the idea of getting a used 430 or 599, but I think I would prefer the manual transmission and spending a little less while still getting the "Ferrari experience."

just emailed them...they say all service is posted on website, which is limited in my opinion. He did not directly address my questions about recalls and campaigns. My inclination is to continue searching.
