Backup scanner fail... LOL... It's one of those days. I kid you not, my back up scanner was on a 15 year old laptop (circa 2000), the fact that I still had it was amazing, but I couldn't get it to boot proper. So naturally, I try to run it on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit machine... Fail...

Get it working on my Win 7 32 bit (ACER Tablet) machine... only to not have a serial port other than USB. So, assuming that I resolve that, perhaps I can talk to my OBD-II port. FWIW, INNOVA 3100 ABS doesn't speak Italian... worthless on the F355. Will work on the Ford, can't talk to the Ferrari. Naturally.

Special thanks to Loser for letting me know that the INNOVA 3100's don't work while the engine is running. I think I may have a plausible answer... Camshaft Position Sensor A code is being thrown... Clearly this is most definitely a likely culprit!

So let's go find out what that will cost me, LOL... No doubt my weight in gold. :)

BOSCH Part # 0232103006 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor (New) - $120.00 Roughly, I can live with that... Which is about my worth in goal, but not my weight in gold.
