    Is anyone here going or showing at the Saturday C&C? This a great event as it is very informal, free and has some outstanding automobiles show up in its own right. I am showing my SLR and hoping Sir Sterling is among the crowd as he is the concours guest of honor. I want to try and get him to sign the dash.

    I went maybe 2 yrs ago. Only thing I didn't like about bringing car is it had to be on field all day, and couldn't leave early.

    Yes indeed one of the drawbacks of exhibiting at a show. However, if you break it up with breakfast/lunch at the hotel it goes much faster and you can spend hours looking at the cars that are there

    Don’ forget the cars for the C and C need to be pre-registered like last year to get on the show field. It is a perk for the local car club volunteers and sponsors.

    I went on Expedia and everything is sold out. Is there any places nearby I can stay outside of town? Is it hard to travel to the island on the day of the show?

    Do a google map search for hotels near Fernandina Beach. Jax airport or Kingsland Ga have a concentration of places to stay. Both are about the same distance on I-95. If you stay in Jax near A1A you can take the ferry for a more scenic drive.
