We were recently asked to do a custom steering wheel for a Huracan owner. We're still working on it but I thought I'd share the photo of the wheel after we took it apart. I was surprised by how many parts it has. It makes the Aventador wheel center simple by comparison! Since we were not doing anything with the side pods on this individual wheel, I left them assembled.

Once we're finished with the wheel (hopefully I remember where all those screws go!) I'll post some pics. It will have a carbon center and lower spoke. We're going to cover the hub (the area behind the airbag) in leather and re-stitch the wheel in green as well.

As for the rest of the interior, Lamborghini has still not made parts available for ordering yet so our Huracan program is still in a bit of a holding pattern. Although we have done one car for a client who sent in their parts.

If there are any Huracan owners in the San Francisco Bay area who are interested in doing some parts, please PM me.

That phony cruise control pad is a riot.
Lamborghini should hang their head in shame for that malformed wart!

I've seen pictures of some cars with the control active. I believe they are non-US cars. Not only is it blank..its very cheap looking. The pod does play a role in securing the center to the wheel hub. See the tab coming off the back end. So a blanking plate isn't really an option.

    John,
I bet the new R8 will use the same steering wheel and will NOT have that 'PodZilla', ;).

Hopefully you don't have to re code all that stuff when it goes back into the car. That could be a headache.

I just had to google an image of what you guys were talking about. That does look awful. MAC, you should design a delete plate for it.

Can't wait to see the completed product.
