    Leakdown , compression , lol , its a 348 not a 355 . Not telling you not to , but , not usually a problem . I guess the 355 paranoia is spilling over to the 348 . Lol

Tom revived a 3 year old thread about the car he now has for sale. People are answering posts from 3 years ago. :)

I think that I may be coming into the end of this a little late, but this sounds like it was this car that you were referring to... Since I cant see the pics from years ago I have to assume that its this car:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/461326-92-348ts-sale-w-salvage-title.html

Andy Falbo is my mechanic and he did give me the run down about the car. It indeed was a run in with a wall at a country club. All of the crap in this thread and all of the infighting from the owner stems from hiding this fact or using the mystery to make you think that it was something else less involved. As humorous as this thread was however...

The owner did too much playing around with posters that he distanced himself from a real sale, IMO. There was a story about being hit with a golf ball, hence the salvage title. then the many "too cute" responses when a short post about the real deal would have sufficed. This thread became a virtual popcorn page turner, but nothing anyone would take seriously in terms of making an offer.

Personally, I think that the owner was his own worst enemy here, even if it is a great purchase opportunity.
