Upholstery in Houston?

Wanna get seats done...any suggestions?

 

When you get the leather redone/replaced also replace/layer the foam cushions

 

Stiches on Highway 6. They are not cheap, and the place looks like a hole in the wall, but they do top notch work.

Stitches is very good. Used them before and I will get a bid. Expensive? Yep!

My cushions are in great shape and BTW here is the seat I bought from Jegs to use temporarily...

They may be in acceptable shape but I tend to believe ALL of our seat's padding hassuffered degradation over the years. Whether that's compression or loss of firmness.

Subjectively that foam is over 33 years old.

I'm not a "foamoligist" but I have to believe there is some loss.

 

Foamologist... BTW, Iam having the upholsterer put an additional half inch of foam on the skins
