I think one thing the Op fails to recognize is for the most part the cars advertised by Fchatters as their own cars are cars owned by car enthusiasts and are likely exactly the type cars every buyer wants .. However having bought several through Fchat most of them are at or very close to or maybe a little over market.
and guess what I have never been disappointed..
    but to each his own.

Would agree that car forum prices tend to be over market.

See some unwarrented attacks though on the OP, especially proof69 who is NOT an owner or serious buyer by his own admission.

The OP is only willing to buy at his price. Fine, if you're not willing to sell at that great, move along.

Maybe the guy never gets a car at his price....that is always my strategy as well, I'd rather end up with no car than one I feel was poorly bought.

Sorry it has been a busy week, I've had a red 2009 Scud PPId this week & negotiated an accepted deal.

I'm paying tomorrow and once it's all finalized I'll update ya'all... The readers digest version: a REALLY nice 2-owner 2009 Scuderia with under 7,000 miles in the price range I've been talking the whole time.

I still wish good luck to those of you still trying to sell your car!

I'll update with pictures & details once the car is paid for and I have the title in hand.

Congrats! Glad you were able to find what you were looking for. Most private buyers will never pay dealer retail, or close to it from a private seller.

Very interested to hear the details and especially curious if you ended up buying from a dealer or private party

Ok, I now have the title & shipping has been arranged. I found a fantastic & beautiful 2009 Scud via private party. We settled south of $180,000 (several thousand less). As mentioned it has fewer than 7,000 miles NO accidents, fully history from new and 2-owners.

    A real gem!

i think it was the one on ebay from private seller... The buy it now was $195k if remember correctly... if so, my buddy looked at it. big congrats, the scud is awesome. i have the same car! if it the same as one on ebay, what was the reason from the brake change (i think pads and rotors) with so few miles?

If that's the car from eBay, what was the exact issue with the brakes?

Ok.. It has been a few days.. Let's see the post! With pics! Looks like a very nice Scud.

Info about the brakes and remaining clutch would be interesting as well for a pricing data point. Obviously non-tracked those rotors should last for 10's of thousands of miles. Perhaps the former owner was stretching the scuds legs a bit on the track? If so would he interesting to know how the clutch held up during that time. I am guessing ok as there is not alot of starts from zero on a track?

My wife and I are happy to announce the birth of our newest addition, Marlowe.

What else would you expect from a Ferrari Enthusiast? Marlowe's first ride was in a Ferrari, our FF. All three of us came home from the hospital, after a few photos of course!
