Still working on this project? You are taking almost as long as a lot of those Pro Fessionals. :)
I took some time away from tooling to do some CAD work to get some bits made... but did a couple of side projects too.... (I have a "day job" as a mechanical engineer, and do the car thing on weekends and evenings...) I built some honeycomb composite parts for Popular Hot Rodding's "Max Effort Cougar".... Door skins, decklid, & ventilated hood.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I painted a car as well for Pebble Beach during my hiatus from my project as well.... It placed in class, later ran the Mille Miglia as well.... while in Italy it was spotted by the Ferrari factory Museum curators.... An agreement with the owner was made to display it through the 60th year celebrations.... the recent factory Enzo/Pavarotti birthday celebration presentation took place in the display area of the Alfa Romeo G1 in Modena at the Ferrari Museum. Current exhibitions - Ferrari Museum Modena So I've been busy, but since the Grand National Roadster Show here in Los Angeles I've been back to it....
