Great to see the combination of our cars "littered" on the street... Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fun stuff. I see a fat-head in the garage on some of these. I'll be the first to acknowledge that I'm not a "car" photographer. I spend my life in architecture, infrastructure, aviation, and capturing a sense of place. But I do like our cars so will continue to work at it a bunch. I have a great respect for what the "car" guys do now more than ever. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rick's car before I take out the distortion and any retouching... Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry the color isn't really coming through from the iPhone's shot of the back of the camera... But hopefully you can feel how the day went. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tim, Would love to see your trio. Not sure on our schedule yet rest of the weekend. But will definitely be returning to SoCal often. . Hopefully with a trailer andctge challenge... Robb
Peter, Great weather in the area. Not sure about timing but want to make a stooge fest in the future. Robb
Nice shots Robb! The car guys (photographers) certainly have a vastly different skill set/crew/gear kit don't they? Hope I'm not out of line but might I make a suggestion? Maybe you could wait until you get some post work done on your awesome high-res shots before releasing? I personally would rather live your journey viewing semi-finished files rather than seeing them for the first time as phone shots of a tiny SLR display. Again, just a suggestion from a fellow shooter/fan of yours and nothing more! Your roadtrip looks like a ton of fun with really great people. Enjoy!!
Looks like we have one April 4th, maybe again in late May or early June at Vince's and I'm on tap again for October 10th.
Brilliant, Robb. You are one lucky man. Any further thoughts on the Challenge wheels in terms of the driving?
I need to pick up my 355 tomorrow from the shop, might as well meet up around LA if you guys are planning something.
i remember this car.. if im not mistaken this car was for sale few years ago at CNC. it had the same custom Navi screen in the middle with 360 steering wheel. when it was at CNC, it had 20" wheels and StopTech bigbrake kit too.
I agree Cuneo, I should probably share only the finished photos but hate to delay getting others from seeing the fun of the trip. Heading out this morning for a run to a lake. Robb
Rick picked up this car 2 years ago. It may be a different car from the one you mentioned because it has regular brakes. I think it came with the Speedline modulars and he added the wheel. But none the less. It is a pristine car. Robb
Seeing the wheels on Henry and Grants cars reminded me on how beautiful and perfect the stock wheels are. Rick's modular Speedline are also very nice and I love these wheels too in non shiny form. The new tires on my car are fantastic and change the character the most. Otherwise, I love both my types of wheels and they both feel light and tight. Great to have options. Robb
