Great looking models. Those look like AMR wheels on the Brauer 250 SWB. Maybe he used them on some models but his look different and better.

Brauer used to use AMR wire wheels on all of his models, though a customer could supply him with something else to use, which is what I did when I ordered a California Spyder from him in the early 1990's. I gave him a set of Bosica wheels to use.

With that said, he has definitely stepped up his game these days, and now makes his own wheels for each model, and they look terrific!

The new Brauers are fantastic, the man is a magician in 1:43. Working suspension and doorlocks! (not kidding!).

But he works with resin nowadays, and I hear that they are very delicate... so delicate that shipping is becoming a big problem.

A lot of topbuilders use the wirewheels made by Bosica (which are really good)

Correct, bbr did only a few 1:24's In the beginning they made a 288GTO which is considered one of the holy grails of BBR's.

These are great! The reason for them not to make more 1:24's, is that most european collectors work in 1:43, 1:24 is more popular in the US.

I recently purchased an old white metal 1/43 kit of 330 LMB:

As far as I know only two companies did the model in 1/43: Italian FDS and British C Scale Models. In my archive I have only very small pics of those but this looks much more like C Scale. Model has no marks or names anywhere. Does anyone know more? I could find next to nothing about C Scale Models anyway...

Also produced by AMR (along with 250 GT. #4713, which is almost identical but not quite!)

I am not familiar with C scale, but BBR also made a 330LMB in 1:43 (only factorybuilt)

I thought that BBR is resin one? I wasn't aware of AMR version but I have some of their models and all have something written on the underside, either AMR or Andre Marie Ruf...

The livery is pretty rare nowadays, allthough in 1990 thet were sold at every gasstation in Europe. The TR by bburago is produced in 100.000's...

sorry if I bring you bad news...
