    Hey Sam, thanks for the compliment - saw your posting on Xweb. I had one in your colour, and I really love that colour - looks sharp!

    BTW: you may already know this, but the shift linkage is not cable - it's via rod actuation, directly into the transmission via a coupler ('79 were not the rubber sandwich design, but every other year was).

    If it's working perfectly, it feels pretty decent. Mine is sloppy right now, because I have some transmission issues that I need to sort out - otherwise, it's great.

    Mini Cooper dark green, circa...2004?? 1981 and has the Miata seat mod and completely redone stock suspension. Otherwise completely stock for now. Plans are to do the clutch for this season then next seasons get into a complete resto-mod with it.
