I would like to see the same but w/ 512TR not the TR. 430 should always win but I wonder how much less the margin would be.

Seven seconds behind at the 30 second mark. And the 430 is supposed to be slow compared to a 458!

Although you listed the video as a 512, pretty sure it's a 91 or slightly older Testarossa.
Appears to have a black valance under front bumper.

By model engine designation a boxer , a tr and a TR are all 512's to me !
    But ok
    430 vs. tr

I wonder if the difference btwn the 308 and the tr would be the same again?

20 year diff between these two?
    In a straight line?
    With electronics?

    What did you expect?

I wouldn't get too knotted up in any of these results.

Something didn't look right to me in the 430/TR video and doing some quick math in my head tells me that while the 430 should win, the difference doesn't compute.

The 458 does the 1/4 mile in the high 10's, and who knows what mods are in the Cobra (I'm betting dollars to donuts that is not a "65" Cobra but a modern recreation)

I would trust official results from trusted sources over some youtube glam shots.

    Swing away!

Really? Supercars have been getting faster and faster over time. Is a kit car considered a supercar? I personally would consider an authentic Cobra or GT-40 a supercar based on rarity alone. So if we are comparing apples to apples a stock 65 427s/c does a quarter mile in 12.5. The Italia in the video did it in 11 and change. Your old Kirkham was highly modified so kinda apples to oranges for the comparison.

I loved driving my BB! Loved the sound, the way it drove and the power it had, but, my
F430 will beat it in any gear, at any speed on any road curved or straight.

But then that should be expected, huh? On the other hand, there's a long list of cars that will trounce a 430.

And now that the Boxers have bumped up in price nicely, no one will be driving them anyway.

+1 and they say car business stand still and they dont improve.
I love my TR and my 360 also beats it in any gear, then jump into a 458.......Holy Sh**t.
And now the 458 is getting "old"...
