I've said it many times before, the Ferrari world is very small. Ever more so with the advent of the internet.
Here's the white 308 GTB VIN 58767 for sale for $84,995: 1985 Used Ferrari 308 GTB QV at Ideal Motorcars Serving Allentown, PA, IID 13039316
seems to be the same white/red 308 discussed in the other thread (Michael Sheehan buying 308), advertised in Lux for 130.000 EUR... ??? Cheers, F
And 58767 is identified in Matthias Urban's DataBase as a 1985 Bianco/Bordeaux GTS QV with red Dash, a 328 engine and the deep spoiler; so 58767 it seems to be. And yes, it is very probably the car advertised in Luxembourg for 130.000 euros discussed in the other thread. Rgds
None of this should be a real surprise to any of us. Used 3X8's have had the same 30-something thousand miles on them since their first used sale
Now changed from Luxemburg to Belgium, lowered price. Poor car, I hope it ends up in a nice home soon, to be enjoyed instead of passed on between dealers :|
Gotta love FChat. I saw that this car was used in Jerry Seinfeld's show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and noticed it was supplied by Ideal Motorcars in the credits. I almost put a deposit down!
