Alonso: "..what do you mean i'm a McLaren driver ?" Stick with the amnesia story Fred....the end of the season is only 9 months away. What a train wreck.
Kimi doing better times on the long run than Vettel according to Kravitz... ''ZOMGGGG VETTEL SUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKSSSS'' Comments coming...
Well that was more encouraging from the a scuderia. 3rd and 4th - which really means 1st and 2nd of the competing teams. Nice.
Yes. Ricciardo on his 2nd engine already. Depending on the Williamses, I think Ferrari has a chance to become the 2nd best team this season...
The first race of the season doesn't prove much -- except McLaren sucks. Oh, and has no sponsors -- still.
Oh yes. Dennis hasn't found any sponsors and kept the Mercedes livery. Ah ah. Alonso better start looking around
Anyone know what's up with the McL PU? They have made little progress in improving things since November last year! Must be pretty fundamental...
Mclarens look ****ing terrible, frankly. Much worse than testing. I disagree about the first race not telling us anything... It gives us a general idea where everyone is. Red bull has done 2 practise sessions and they are an engine down. That's where they are... Ferrari looks better te drive from what I've seen and have a chance to take Williams this season.
Well, he had the honesty to say that he was furious after himself for not having been able to tie everything together and drive a good lap, and that the car is good, but the culprit is himself. Seb said that the car is rather good, but that there is no hope whatsoever of catching up the Mercedes, which are totally out of reach. Those declarations are now in the main media sites like Autosport, etc... Rgds
It is early but excellent work by SF. Massive improvement over last year; won't catch MB but they have a solid base to work with. Kudos to Marchionne for taking the steps to right the ship. If the FIA morons (I realize that's redundant) allowed testing/engine development no doubt in my mind the gap would be further reduced. Forza ragazzi dello SF!
I've read a good bit of that this morning. I look forward to seeing how Kimi goes when he puts together a good lap he is pleased with. A driver pleasing himself with his performance seems to be the most difficult thing for these meticulous drivers to do. Nico and Lewis were both unsatisfied as well but I think that had more to do with the car setup which imo can never be 100% perfect
Just got off the phone withn ROn...he explained that he meant he was going to win his particular war against Manor, and that the media got hgim wrong and thought he was talking about winning the race!!!..."no, no, said Ron, i was talking bout our private batle with Manor".....
