It would be if he did not end up doing what others said he would.
The verbiage from the link on your site and eBay both say the car is finished in Rosso Scuderia. Just by eyeing the car on the web I knew it was Corsa...paint tag under the hood confirms. Might want to change that. While both are shades of red, it would help to get it right.
So a dealer is selling a car that he said he was going to keep, BIG DEAL.... Does he need your permission?
NO. No break - otherwise what's the incentive for acting in an ethical manner? I commend those for calling him out and cyber bullying..
You and everybody else knows it was bought to flip. Nobody has buyers remorse after acquiring a 3 pedal red 430.
Anyone that thinks what this guy is doing is ok is just incomprehensible to me. First he claims it's his own "personal" car that he is selling. Gets called out on that. Then says the car is no longer for sale. That "he just loves it" and has decided to keep it. Not 7 days later he is selling it everywhere but on this site. Why? Because he's a deceitful liar. If he's willing to lie about something so petty as this, imagine what he's really capable of. I've dealt with many car salesman like this guy (and yes, even an experience with Nick himself a while back on the phone). Buyer beware is all I'm saying. Cyber bullying? Nah, just calling you out once again. You are not to be trusted. And it's apparent that most here agree. You made your bed. Now have fun sleeping in it.
RiteDrive, the only valid issue I see is with your comment below from the previous thread: "I am keeping the car as I am in love with it." You never took down the listings anywhere, and in fact renewed the timed eBay listing right on time. If you truly changed your mind (as opposed to wanting to flip the whole time), a more honest approach would have been to ask FerrariChat to unlock your previous for sale post and announce your final decision to sell.
I am selling a car! I decided to sell a car rather than keep it! Discudsted is angry and needs a hug! I am giving you a big hug through this thread. XOXO Hugs and kisses. Whats your address I will send flowers and chocolates as well.
2007 Ferrari 599 GTB | Amelia Island 2015 | RM Sotheby's I hope this happens with the 430 6 speed manual
I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and take them at their word unless they give me reason otherwise. The specifics of this particular transaction aren't my business, but my gestalt view after reading the posts by RiteDrive is that he's not someone I would feel comfortable with on a major transaction like buying a Ferrari. I could be wrong, but with so many others out there selling these cars, you have to earn my business.
Nick, That's a very good lookin' 430 you've got there. I see you've got the tool kit. Does it come also with books (namely service book) and car cover? Good luck with the sale. Kind regards to you and to the great state of Florida! Nuno.
This guy can't spell 'Liar' and 'Disgusted' - thinking we should lower our expectations.. His ignorance of not accepting reality of listing car once again after saying he was going to keep it should be proof enough that logic is not his strong-suit! Best thing to do is go to RiteDrive and complete Google review - that will hem him up for sure.. Think I am going to do that since he is continuing to stir the pot versus fall on the sword.
Funny. The previous owner took them off because he never drove it in the rain. Said they blocked his view.
Looking at his website, here is what I found: " There are currently 244 active exotic car dealers on the network and over 1,200 active private party members as of March 15, 2015" if you someone already has 1444 total members, an added value listing should be gone within minutes without the needs to advertise in eBay or Fchat. The math does not add up in my opinion and for that reason I am out.
I have fallen on the sword and I am bleeding. I have apologized and this thread still continues. I really don't know what else to do. Keep in mind this has nothing to do with RITEDRIVE it has to do with me posting a Ferrari 430 I bought and stated it was a personal car. This was misleading to some and I have apologized for it. Its also an issue that I made a statement that I am keeping the car but kept it up for sale. I am also sorry for that as well
When RiteDrive first became sponsor he was bumping a whole bunch of "wanted" ads with cars that didn't even fit the wanted ads description. Half of the classifieds was him bumping with ****ty links. This car was sent to me via email weeks before he moved on it. I was going to post it myself for fchat to see but didn't want to post a car I did not own. I'm sure the car is more than fine. Just lame how he has gone about conducting himself. I'm not sure what's worse though, his actions or the lack of regulation on sponsors on this forum. Should be some sort of governance at the very least.
Okay guys, you win! I have asked to be removed from your network and chat. I wish you all the best of luck with future ventures and hope that you can get past this unfortunate incident. I respect the community and understand that a mistake was made on my part and I take full responsibility. I understand I am not welcome here and will gladly step out. Have a great spring
What I don't understand about this situation is, you have a gorgeous 8800 mile gated 430, why is there any need to fluff it up with a "this is my own car" story? Credibility lost over something entirely unnecessary in the first place. Oh well!
