WOWOW..I just saw two FXX-Ks in Maranello at Corsa Cliente. The show car and another prototype. I was able to take photos of the show car but not the prototype and this car is the bomb. It is over the top cool and just about the most amazing thing I've ever seen Ferrari produce. Words and pictures cannot do justice and this car has to be seen in person.

 

Would be cool if you could share pictures you've taken with us. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in person, from photos this car looks really amazing. I love the looks of LaFerrari and FXX K is even one step further.

 

I can't yet as it was part of a media tour. Trust me I want to!

 

The prototype was for another track only car?

 

I wish it could be sth like F12XX ;-) but OP said he had seen two FXX K-s.

Seriously I'm also curious what that prototype was.

 

To clear it up, it was a FXX K prototype. Maybe the first prototype before the show car, I have no idea.

To be honest, I'm not surprised Ben. Guess you will have to take out your other XX car.

 

One was the press car with all the shiny decals and such and the other (the prototype as I understand it) was matt gray.

looks absolutely outrageous.

in theory eventually these cars will match F1 cars of the past in terms of pace etc, then surely it'll be unsafe for any 'ordinary' drivers to use them? idk

 

A Honda Accord has already done that if you go back far enough with F1

This is the coolest car I have ever seen.

 

Now we've seen McLaren releasing the P1 GTR and Ferrari the FXX K, is there also coming a more hardcore version of Porsche's 918?

 

Interesting to note that McLaren present their car in the old colours of the successful F1 GTR and then put a number 51 on it!! Isn't it bad enough to want to be a Ferrari but to need to identify yourself with the number that is such a Ferrari number is simply amazing. Do they think that by putting 51 on it, potential buyers will think that it is from the manufacturer of the multi-world championship winning team?

it is definitely nicer than the one has decals on. but i wonder what were the differences in that 'prototype' fxxk compared to this version we see in the picture, since the only person who saw it said it is 'much crazier'. ( not that i don't trust his words..just wish that there are more people confirming about this ' crazy fxxk'
