This was--and still is--a very special car.

 

The tub life is what gets me. How many have actually been replaced as Ferrari recommends? Are the cars still safe to drive aggressively? What is the life expectancy for the chassis?

 

The rest of the car will need replacing before the tub does, unless there is a collision.

 

Perhaps you are thinking of the life expectancy of the fuel bladders?

 

Back then they didn't know enough about carbon fiber and thought it would last 10 years (or at least would need replacing to play it safe). This turns out not to be the case with carbon fiber so I don't think any uncrashed tubs have actually been replaced, because there is no need.

I have all the original books and paper work and I don't think there is anything in there about tub replacement

This F50 from i know, via old workers of Ferrari Portugal was sent by Ferrari Italy only for show.

Any ideia the S/N ?

Saw this guy at TAS 2015.

It was showed at the Roberuta booth along with a F40 and Enzo.

 

F50 gathering in Japan.

 

From this angle, you can see where the front of the enzo was inspired from and rear of the mc12. Looks absolutely gorgeous.
