wow! i start a thread 4 years ago, and look what you have done with it! nice pics.
I am not affiliated with the seller but this car at the Sports car compnay seem to me the steal of the day at $109K or best for a rare 2006 with less than 6K miles. Seller dropped from $135K. It is on ebay. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Used to have an '05 Vanquish S - put over 10k miles on it. Overflowing with character, but sold it because I didn't use it enough and couldn't justify it sitting around. One of the most beautiful cars ever made (in my opinion, and as it seems, that of a lot of people) and best sounds ever. It needs to be driven in a spirited manner, otherwise it gets a bit unwieldy (gearbox is perfectly happy shifting at higher revs, but lower down it gets clumsy). Maybe I'll have another one day. Sure it's meteorite? First picture looks very dark, like Cairngorm Grey. Very elegant colour. Sent from my spaceship via Tapatalk.
Ah ? I think 1st picture has been modified with photoshop, more contrast On the 2nd one, it really looks like Meteorite but I can be mistaken
Yup, whoever took that first photo did a lot of Photoshop. It was Meteorite Grey - actually pretty dark and not far off. The 2nd makes it look lighter (and it was also dirty in that 2nd shot)
2003 Vanquish, its a wonderful car to drive and even better to look at. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Someone wanting a manaul should buy the nice low miles S for sale in the US at < 100K and convert it for $25 and voila!: $125K for a manual! not only you would have fun but you also will look like a financial wiz!
not sure how many in the USA but herE are some data from otehr sites and people who track this 1086 Vanquish S made 2005 : 317 2006 : 300 (70 RHD et 230 LHD) thee are the years of Vanq in the USA. Eliminate the RHD and that leaves 547 cars potential for USA import. Typically 1/2 of car made get to the USA and some just get crashed. So let say 10% crashed and on 1/2 made it to the USA That gives you a rought 246 USA Vanquish S cars max.
Björn, really 324 Vanquish S sold to the US in 2005/2006 ? I didn't expect that considering that for 2006 model-year 230 LHD were built. Considering also that the last Vanquish S was built in June 2006 and that on the 317 S built in 2005, there were RHD and LHD, I don't understand how it is possible that 324 "S" went to the US. That would mean so few in the rest of the world... I followed the thought of Pat and me too I was thinking around 200
Hummm. I would have said more non S and less S. The 2nd hand market here is full of non S. The S vs non S import ratio you show is not reflected by the resal ratio but I guess my data is empirical on observation not factual. Still that is a lot of S imported. Over 1/2 and that is more that the average model import ratio of other cars I know.
No doubt for sure, I was just expecting other figures That shows how rare the Vanquish is in Europe...
well, even these numbers in the US makes it quite a rare car. Below 500. In europe you need to add the RHD and the 2007. The world still had almost 740 S or so units to play with . that is a lot ! 740 owners could not even fit in a bus. lol..
26 Non-S and 11 S delivered to Canada. Canadian Vanquish is very exotic! Sent from my spaceship via Tapatalk.
I am a bit late on this trying to cath up on life from weather incurred delays but someone got happy. Now someone cleans the roads! Sorry for the bad picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login
