I recall seeing this car in Batavia, NY. It was yellow and I was told it once belonged to Dean Martin's son. As I remeber, it was entirely street legal, mufflers and all.
Someone named Paul owned it and I heard it referred to as a P3/4.
To further the story, there was a P3/4 at Watkins many yeays ago and the story was that it was the Martin car, restored back to its racing configuration.
You guys are much more into the mainstream so, how does my story bear out????????
    Bob Z.

There was a write-up of Dino Martin's 412P In Classic and Sportscar Magazine a few months back.

Dean Martin once owned a Ferrari - 410 SuperAmerica?

Thanks. He had some dandy cars when I started vintage racing in 1974 or so.

I remember seeing this car in a body shop in Hollywood at the time Dean Martin's son owned it. I was told that it was a P3/4. Weeks later, I saw it being driven on the street in the same vicinity--possibly by its owner. It was not a Tom Meade creation, though his stylings were P4 influenced.

I am writing him to find out the more exciting cars in the family at one time or another.one heartbreaker was a daytona spyder taken back to the dealer after it stalled.
The 412P was mistakingly identified by John Lamm as a P3/4.

Do you honestly believe that you're one-upping a 330 P4 (in actuality, it was this 412 P, but no less impressive) with a Miura?

Talking about bringing an OLD thread back from the dead, by the way!

I think Precision Auto Body's Lee Brown found the 412 over at Ecurie Francorchamps
but it was probably only about $25K where I think the Miuras were near there about then weren' t they? I heard that the Ferrari was extensively damaged when unloaded from the plane, something about using the fork lift in the wrong place.

He had two other sons: Stephen "Craig" Martin, who was born in 1942, and Ricci James Martin, who was born in 1953. I believe both are still alive.

He is the one who had two Vallelungas. I never heard of the other son until today on Fchat. Ricci has a webpage concerning his musical producing and nightclub acts and wrote a book about his father.

First Facel Vega I ever saw was a picture similar to this with Dean Martin. The first time I saw one in person I immediately thought of Dean.

You can also place your order directly in Geneva. For most watches waiting time is between 6 months and 18 months. They ship worldwide!
