You do realize that unless you bob the (middle of the) nose of the 348 that the air won't flow under the under panels properly.

The 348 nose is designed to limit the air mass under the car.
The F355 nose is designed to maximize the air mass flowing in the channel.

Yes...and I also realize the "aero" (cough) in a street car or even a street care converted to race car is quite a contrived kludge.

That more or less obvious fact can be combined with the much increased difficulty getting a jack under a 355 compared to a stock 348. Unless a real improvement can be demonstrated, I wouldn't change anything under the car.

Panel 2 is the underbody (not a panel, just the floor of the car) panel 1 are two small panels that attach to the underbody and to panel A. All of those small dots on the panels are where studs come out of the underbody going through the panels and nuts hold the panels on. You could just use self tappers on the 348 being careful not to pierce anything important.

Well.... the bodyshop had a look at the underside of the 348 and recommended that I don't put the 355 panels on as it will be a mission to do. So they will be on ebay very soon.

Part of me is glad as I kind of want it to remain original, albeit with the existing upgraded parts. Plus the value of the car is going up. Not that I'm selling :D
