    Hello,

I'm currently looking for a stick 355GTS. Would prefer a later car with Scuderia shields and below 20K miles.

    Any help would be appreciated

I used to own that very car 5 years ago. I've not seen one for sale since. (manual gts with factory shields).

Hard to find but they are out there somewhere. Best of luck and I'll let you know if I come across anything.

Just some food for thought. From my personal data collection within the past two weeks I can put some perspective on what you are looking for. The 25% percentile for low mile on cars for sale is around 18,500. So your search is starting with nearly 75% or all cars being eliminated from your search right there. Of the 63 cars I found listed for sale when collecting my data, 1 of 63 was a GTS. There is a lot to be said about the thrill of the hunt but just be aware you are battling some daunting statistical odds.

Hope we can help you find one.

    Thanks,

the car doesn't have to have the shields but it'd be a huge plus.

    Regret just missing this car:

True. And you can always add them later on. Not a good reason imho to pass on a great car if you find one.

    Kind regards and good luck,

    Nuno.

OEM shields are recessed into the fender. Adding them on afterwards isn't quite the same look IMO.

Nindia, can't we find new 355 fenders prepared to get shields? I want shields on my 575 and I agree with you, just glueing them on afterwards doesn't look quite as good, that's why I'm getting new fenders with Ferrari Lisbon and they have them for sale. Don't know if they have them for a 355 though, but 575 fenders can be found without breaking a sweat.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Its not a stick, Ive driven both, I personally prefer the paddles and the super quick shifts. has factory shields and won several crystal trophies etc.
Thinking of selling to justify a 458.....

I've found a used set of fenders from a wrecked rosso corsa car. Debating buying them...but at the same time I'm not sure how much I care to replace the fenders on my car that has never had any body work done.

I would love to know the retail price on factory fenders with recessed shields. Something I wouldn't mind eventually doing if I decide to respray the car but for the time being I'm going to be driving it lots so don't care to spend too much on repairing rock chips etc.

Nindia, when I go to Ferrari Lisbon to place an order for my 575, I'll be more than happy to ask them for you. If you are US based it'll differ a bit, but at least it'll give us a picture.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Factory shields on the 355's didn't come along until 98 or 99 which is also when the F1's show up.

Unicorn 355 would be a 98/99 GTB F1 with full carbon interior and factory shields. :)

    I'm sure there's a few out there.

Can't confirm about factory shields, but the F1 gearbox was introduced in 1997.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.
