They powered the Championship winning cars for 4 years in a row (2010-2013), and to 2nd in 2009 and 2014, and you don't understand why they continue to make engines?? I think that's a pretty solid track record.

You do know that Renault developed/built and introduced turbocharging to F1, right? Now I am not judging your competence of F1 but I believe what we are experiencing is commitment. The rules and regulations in F1 tie hands and has frankly made a mockery of the sport we love so dearly.

Most of the Admiralty thought Churchill's idea of opening up a 3rd front at Gallipoli was a good idea as well. Was it smarter to stick with that decision for months after it kept proving daily what a disastrous decision it was?

The teams have their own interests. The FIA is responsible for the good of the sport.
We've seen the mess that results when the FIA allows the teams and FOM to run the sport.

LdM's one big mistake was his poor team management of SF during the last five years of his leadership. Big changes should have been made years ago.

Uncle Sweater still sucks. Ferrari SpA is weaker since his doings, even if SF is stronger.

Kimi admitted that he released the clutch too early and caused the problem, IIRC.

Source? I can't find that anywhere. Not even on Kimi's website: KIMI RÄIKKÖNEN Official Web Site | News | Malaysian GP - Race

Usually, releasing the clutch too early would cause a stall, but Kimi drove the car for a whole lap with a shredded tire. The problem was caused by Felipe Nasr's right front wing shredding Kimi's left rear tire. Kimi just barely missed a podium spot for a decent P4.

I would say Ferrari have the right boss now.

I heard it from SkyF1, I think it was Ted Kravitz.

"Ted Kravitz reports that it was a broken wheel hub that ended Kimi's race. It was not his fault as he was given the green light #AusGP #F1" Ted Kravitz reports that it was a broken wheel hub that ended Kimi's race. It was not his fault as he was given the green light #AusGP #F1 : F1 Madness

That literally almost happened within seconds, but a sudden downpour rained on Kimi's parade. That wasn't his fault, either.
