    I know where one is....

I don't think I'd sell even at $120K though. I love the car too much and I can't think of a single other vehicle I could turn around around and buy for my $120K that would be as fun, beautiful, and sound as good.

One thing I just thought of. For those of us who drive our cars somewhat frequently, what is the best way to handle insurance? For example, let's say that the true replacement cost of a 1995 GTB is now $100,000. If my insurance company looks at general 355's for sale on eBay, or uses Hagerty, etc., they are going to likely value the car at much less than $100,000. Is there any way to do a higher agreed value policy, where the agreed value is higher than the current data would indicate in a situation like this where the value of a car may be appreciating rapidly?

That is a great question. I seem to remember a recent thread about insurers who offered agreed-upon value. I am calling mine tomorrow.

$675 per year? That is cheap. Full coverage? Whats your liability coverage?

Go to an appraiser. They will check the car over, do some of their own homework to get an idea of what the market is and come up with a value. If it doesn't meet your approval, provide examples to prove your point.

This was in a recent Car and Driver.

The values that were given were based off of high mileage cars.

Its funny because if you look at the average miles in the C & D article, it says something like 50000-70000!

    That's so cheap.

We get hosed here in BC.

I have full coverage on everything, have $5m liability, full discount status for good driving history (43% off) and my insurance for a 98 355 is $2500 CAD per year!

Maybe a GT3...or a beat up GT3 RS with high mileage.

GT3 RS' are well over $150k now. Most in good shape are around $180k.

A mint 1995 gtb is not going for 56k. Haggerty is way off with that number.

If anyone ever finds all these mint condition 1995 GTB's for $56K please let me know so I can buy them all. ;)

Please note that I did say that Haggerty is NOT the be all end all. I can understand even a 20% premium over what they say, but I can't understand how a 355 can be worth similar money to a Testarossa and more than a 360. I didn't post here to be disrespectful, I just don't see the values being what a handful of you claim they are. As I said in my original post, I will pay fair money based on the specs of the vehicle. If someone has one or knows of one, please let me know. I'd also consider a 360 coupe 6-speed. Thank you.

There is a crossover point between 355/360 prices. (some 360's sell for less than some 355's).

20% over Hagerty is 67k. Would that buy you a mint berlinetta with mid teens mileage? Hard to say as their aren't any mint low mile b's available (that I know of).

We don't mean any disrespect either. If you can find what you are looking for let us know how much they want for it. I can't find what you described now and I can't remember the last time I did see one. It has been years at least, seriously.

That is very close to what I had to pay for my mint condition 1995 GTB with 16K miles, carbon sports seats, and fresh major with new valve guides just done.

Oh, and that was over two years ago.
