I have decided to sell my LT1 convertible. Fun car, a bunch spent to make it a super driver. Details here... Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Convertible | eBay
Ahudson and I reached a deal- Absolutely great seller and a reasonable deal- I always prefer to "Buy the seller" rather than the car. My second Fchat purchase in a week!
Thanks Bill- I have a 71 Lt1 coupe that is going through a full restoration- so I was itching for a driver!
Thanks folks and thanks to Jay for advancing his car sickness while he allows me to further mine! It was 80 degrees here yesterday, so it was my duty to wind that small block up through the gears. Total smile-a-thon. Others gave thumbs up, enthusiastic queries at the gas station. These cars just have a presence. Clearly I need a bigger garage.
Of all the various Vette body styles over the years, this "sting-ray" type is the only one I ever liked ---- very cool looking (for an American car design ).
Nice machine. These LT1's are under valued. I looked at one but bought a '69 427 instead. Was a great car. Riverside gold and saddle looked very much like this one. Restored it and modified it for modern performance. Drag raced Vipers with it. Makes me nostalgic. Wish I had garage space. I'd like it.
Sweet! Winding up that C3 clears your mind of all that crap we sort through all day. I always try to keep in mimd she ALWAYS breaks loose to the passenger side...
