    Jagbuf,

I was trying to get in at the BWM Event but, my car was not ready. What other events do you run at COTA? MVP, Edge, Chin, Etc...

I sure would like to see some pics of that CS with the center lock challenge rims. I run my 355F1 at COTA regurally and getting faster each time out.

I don't understand how the 360 CS F1 could be slow when compared to any modern F1 type car? All are much faster then any manual and there is not much gain from these fast F1 shifting cars? Clutch type and trans have gotten better power to the ground which is a +.

Definitely a LOT!! Maybe it's not a 'special' car, but certainly unique. Not a true 'one off' but it's the only one that came to NA with those specs... silver w/ factory stripe, black leather w/ yellow stitching, yellow calipers.

Not the particular car you're asking about (I think), but there is a CS with center lock wheels that occasionally shows up to the Montecito C&C. I found this shot on their Facebook page.

It all depends what one is looking for. I like the CS in Rosso Scuderia, but after quite a few red Fcars, I particularly wanted the CS in non-red and no stripe.

I considered this car, but it was quite rough inside and out. It was offered to me for $130k, so probably sold somewhere around that. Healthy profit if they get anywhere near what they are asking.

I owned an amazing f430 in silver with every option including CCB, and carbon seats, etc... I couldn't give the car away because it wasn't "resale red". Never again will I compare a silver Ferrari to a red Ferrari.

With that said, a Ferrari 360 Stradale looks amazing in ANY color because of its unique options and accents such as the red seats you see in many of them. I think the quality of the stradale will mean a lot right behind the color and options.

Man, that is stunning. Light colors show off the CS lines very well.

Hey I love argento, giallo, Nero, TDF blue, and Gregio all of them the whole lot....I think they are fabulous colors. I didn't write the rules, if I did I would say more colors then red and not so much scrutiny on number of miles on a car, but that's just me :)

That said, Rosso Corsa, Rosso Scuderia, ...Racing red, resale red....just sells, just ask the men with the gavels on auction day... it's just what the people want and are willing to pay the top bucks for...

I believe that the launch color(s) impact demand/preference a fair amount. If Ferrari chose RS with stripe and TDF without stripe to debut the car then those colors tend to be more coveted than they might otherwise be.

The CS is such a beautiful car (as is the 360). I do agree that Argento and Titanium are fabulous colors for the car.

    Tongue-in-cheek, Alfonsolaw - I have a rosso BBi and a soon-to-be rosso miura.

And yes, the red leather seats were the icing on the cake for me with the titanio grigio CS. Couldn't resist. Like friggin' kryptonite.

also wasn't the Rosso Scuderia (RS) a colour specially formulated for the CS and only since has it been a colour option for any other F-model since.....? maybe that's why it is coveted more?

    Hi bikz,
the Rosso Scuderia was specifically "concocted" a few years ago after several trials for the F1 cars because it would have looked better on TV,then it was adopted as a standard color for the road cars!
    Cheers
    Manny
