Scuds are amazing, and beautiful. I actually know someone who has 2 in his garage. Wish I could afford 1. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You never know, sometimes good fortune comes around again. Just keep your pennies ready and you may get one (though forget $160K, that would have been a steal). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Was over their a few months back and heard a few folks were moving to a new dealership further east. Perhaps that's what it's all about...
I saw what looked like a Chinese Exotic Car club at Bayview Village Shopping Centre today, 2 x Ferrari 458's, 2 x Maserati GranTurismo's, 1 x McLaren 650S, 1 x Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, 1 x Porsche Turbo S, 1 Aston Martin V8 Vanquish. The average age appeared to be late teens to early 20's and I doubt any of them was over 30. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Then it's another club I should join though I can't take off Thursday's from work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does anyone know anything about this flat black painted 430 in Toronto? It's pretty rare to see such a new car with such an unusually full respray. I'm in the market for a similar car, but respray basically kills the resale potential by what, 10-30%? That's assuming it wasn't sprayed due to accident (has clean carfax) It's far enough away from me that I can't easily pop by to inspect the body work. Anyone have an info to share? PM me privately please if you don't feel comfortable posting publicly about it. 2006 Ferrari 430 SPIDER for $145,900 in Oakville | autoTRADER.ca
Yeah, unless it was keyed. That wouldn't show on a car fax. That would be my first guess. Or it could just be somebody with FU money. But its a young guy thing to go to a flat paint. Gotta be a five figure job, but still hits resale really hard for non original.
I would double check to make sure it isn't a wrap. If it is indeed painted, I would run. The matte black craze is over. You'll be stuck with this thing forever and as you said, the repaint will kill any resale value.
I went to look at this car last week. Dealer said it was sprayed quite a while ago, before wraps were common and readily available. I saw a few minor chips (normal for the age) that have been touched up, but didn't look too closely. What was neat, was to see that it is a 3-pedal car. Not too many manual F430s around.
That is rare. however that paint well be ridiculous to maintain. Might as well wrap it when you get it.
Spotted these two on the Gardiner today. I've seen a number of Land Rover Defender 110s in the last year. Seems to be a growing interest in them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I just saw the same car in Brampton on Airport Road - very nice. *Might not have been the same car, but same color combo.
