Hi, I'm getting married in May 2015 in Southern CA, specifically in City of Industry. Ever since I was a little boy, my dream car has always been a Ferrari. Maybe one day, I'll be able to afford one, but for now...I thought, on my wedding day, wouldn't it be great to roll up in a Ferrari ! This is an indian wedding, so for those of you who are not familiar, there is a ceremony at the end of the wedding where the bride/groom exit the hotel along with friends/family and everyone watches as the bride/groom get into a car and drive off (literally make a circle in the parking lot and come back). I need a Red or White Ferrari with light interior (for better pictures) for this part of the wedding. The car will NOT be driven on any roads. It will not be driven faster than 5 MPH. We will only be in the car for approx. 15-30 minutes. We will take pictures in and around the car as bride/groom. You can be standing near your car the entire time and keep an eye on it (not too close unless you want to be in the pictures!) Of course, I am willing to compensate the person who can help me out. I checked at local exotic car rental places and rates are crazy and 1 day minimum rental. I only need the car for about 30 mins and will NOT be driven faster than 5 MPH, and will NOT be taken out of the parking lot....so, I thought why not ask a Ferrari owner ? I'm wondering if anyone on this forum is open and willing to come out in May and lend their Ferrari to good and memorable cause. I even promise to send you professional pictures of the car taken by our photographer Please PM me if you are willing to do this and let me know if you have any specific compensation in mind. Mods - please move if this is in the wrong place. Thank You for reading!
Like they say in Hindi, "Mazel Tov!" Isn't Indian tradition involve riding in on a white horse or elephant
I think they have one at Budget in Beverly Hills but there's a black 458 at a rental place by my house if you feel that's more appropriate???
I have a red/tan F355 and a red/tan 328 GTS that may be available. Could also bring a '55 Rolls Silver Dawn if that fits your plans. PM sent.
Ferrari is not being borrow. My suggestion for you is to rent . Don't be cheap on your wedding. Congratulations!!!!!!!
Left a PM 4 days ago. No response. Apparently not too concerned about a car or didn't like my vehicles/ price.
Nothing fishy about OP's post - I can tell you from running a rental business - the wedding clients are the worst. They are simultaneously the most demanding about color and appearance (usually they're the only clients who want to see the car in person before booking) - and yet they are the cheapest. They will grind, grind, grind. My theory is it's because they are spending so much already that day that their coffers are low.
make sure anyone thinking of renting read the insurance and all of the details. notice most places rent them in black and try to ding you for paint issues or pitting. LOL.
The guy probably thinks because he only needs it for 30 minutes that he should be paying the rental cost of a Toyota Camry. Just saying.
You never heard back 'cause he's a wedding client TrojanFan - seriously they're worst. My idea of hell would be being forced to work as any kind of wedding vendor.
hey guys, sorry for the late response! Thanks for the feedback - it looks like my best bet is to just go and rent one? I totally understand, if I had a 200k+ car, I would also be hesitant to let someone "borrow" it , even for a few minutes. I just thought this would be a nice idea for a Ferrari Enthusiast who is willing to show off their car.
