I have one of these and I can tell you first hand it stunning in my garage .
Once the lucky buyer gets it home however go out and buy spare floresant tubes ASAP . It's an odd length and I'll bet that very soon they will be unavailable in USA as they now are in Canada . That aside is rare peice and a must for vintage Lambo fans.

Germanic sounding American brand using Italian imagery.
Free beer to the first person that can credibly identify the Miura chassis number!

Far more rare than the car. I have two of them. I wouldn't sell one for twice that price.

    Here's to a class act......Roy.
I replied to this thread and mentioned that I was on a trip and would be by in a couple of weeks to pick up the sign........Roy honored the deal, pretty classy.
Great shop, great guy, great sign.

Well this is interesting as I pm'd Roy late in the evening to buy the sign received confirmation via pm that he would sell the sign to me and to email him which I did the next afternoon to pay for it and he informed me someone from Vancouver B.C emailed him first and he was driving down the next day to pick it up.
In any event the story seems to have changed and I sure wouldn't want to be involved in any transactions with this dealership if this is indicative of their business practices.

If your going to cry about spilled milk..maybe you should report the FACTS as they truly happened.

You sent me a PM here late at night, ASKED what the cost to ship it to you would be. I responded by saying, please send me your request to me via E MAIL which I ALSO told you that was CLEARLY posted in the add. I cant give postal costs out of this PM and I can out of my email with the proper information. MORE then 24 hours later you sent me info in my e mail. By then I had already agreed to sell it to a person that DID read and follow the instructions in the add. AS a matter of fact, he even picked up the phone and called me...which anyone can do because my phone number is posted everywhere... I said he was traveling from Canada and would pick the sign up and NOT need it shipped. Since you HAD not got back to me, I SOLD the sign to him. I guess if you had followed the instructions in the add, it would have been yours first...

As far as not buying from "this dealership"...you still have 3 in Canada to buy from and with the Dollar and your money the way it is, you would be better off up there then down here anyways...

Actually that's not correct, no where in the (INSTRUCTIONS) original post does it say to respond only via email, I sent you a pm saying I would buy it and to find out the shipping, to which you responded via pm to email the information etc of which I did less than 24 hrs after my initial offer to purchase and your acceptance of same. So we actually had a contract. I did not feel it appropriate to call you initially over the purchase of a sign. In any event you decided to proceed a different route which I dislike on principle.

As far as doing business with you on any level, your right I wouldn't based on this simple blotched transaction regardless of current exchange rate, and I'm assuming that sophisticated sellers and buyers take the exchange rate into account regardless of which side of the border they are on.

OK..I guess the written word is better...here is your PM to me and my answer...CAN YOU please point out where WE HAD a "Contract"?? AND per your OWN words, you took almost 24 hours...to be exact it was just a hair over 23 hours till you responded, so in those 23 hours ANOTHER person called, reached a deal, paid for it and latter picked it up...so you should stop your baby crying....

Thanks for laying out the correspondence that we had between us, albeit your presentation is somewhat disjointed but then again your vocabulary does include the disparaging words such as "baby crying" "spilled milk" and the old stand by of course "sour grapes". Your smoke and mirrors approach in your response seems to be indicative of dealing with you and your inability to grasp this simple business transaction. This is confirmed in each successive post that you make in this matter.

There was an offer and acceptance, I would suggest that you seek some guidance in determining what constitutes a contract, whether written or verbal. The sign is a moot point now, like I said before, not honouring a contract and skewing the truth of where the sign was going and when they were picking it up is my concern, ( as supported by other posts ) there really was no point in spinning the story at that point on your part.

On a final note, the lack of class shown in posting my personal information in the thread does not intimidate me Roy, it just shows your own character.

Anyone that actually cares can sift through the actual facts and draw their own conclusions on dealing with you.

    +1,

I also recently purchased items from Roy, I emailed him, offered him full payment by PayPal or by credit card, then called him to confirm the deal, since I didn't want to lose out out on the items. Roy was professional through the whole transaction. He replied quickly to my email, answered his phone, emailed my when he said he would, then gave me a tour when I arrived at his shop.

I will deal with Roy and Cats Exotics in the future, I had an excellent experience in my purchase.

    Thanks again Roy!
