We will be racing this weekend!
Jim do you know how you will handle the speed limits? Will there be a electronic solution or is it simply down to the driver to slow and maintain the speed in these areas? I am not sure that this was a well thought out decision to enforce a speed limit on a racing track with almost 200 cars in different classes and night racing (+ Eifel weather). Not sure if you can answer this but does the 250kmh limit on the Döttinger Höhe mean that you can run more wing/downforce? Which will lead to even higher cornering speeds... Anyway can't wait for the next race, good luck Jim!
All the GT3 cars have total telemetry broadcast in real time to race control so they can monitor it easily. We will have a "High Speed limit" button on the steering wheel so drivers can easily reduce their speed where required. This will enable us to run more wing and overall downforce and generally have better fuel economy and we may even race at a lower weight with less HP as allowed. We will also likely change gear ratios. It will still be a great race and a great adventure!

Glickenhaus beansprucht Nordschleifenrekord: SCG 003C in 6:42 Minuten über die Nordschleife - AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT
No but we're adding on board for Sunday's race. There is a lot of TV footage on U tube of VLN 1 and the lap is in the official timing records of the race. The Ring and us both have all telemetry of all of our laps. Frankly I didn't think we'd run so fast so early on. Here's a link to the book that covers everything: Inside SCG003 | www.waft.be
'Inside Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus' is the closest you can get to really racing SCG003, since all 500 readers will be mentioned on Jim's car during the 24 Hours of the Nurburgring. This is how this could look. Will you look all of SCG's competitors straight in the eye as well? Join this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity now.
