I did not say that there is not a faster driver, I said No.1 ;)
In last year there was no need to tell Rosberg he should let pass Hamilton in case he was in front but maybe this year this might happen (if Rosberg ever gets in front of Hamilton ;) )...

Seriously? Again a comspiracy theory of the evil Germans to ally against the poor Brit??? What do they have in common that they would help each other?

They have the same nationality and speak the same language? And both are chasing him in the WDC? I'm all for them to beat him BTW. Oh, wait! This might sound racist now! :(Oh, for God's sake! ... And Buddah's.
    And Hallah!
    ...and Elvis! I forgot Elvis
    I can't win.:(;)

And you think that this is an argument in a world of egomanic individualists? I do not see that they have much in common...

Well, they're both egomanic idividualists then! Another thing in common.;) Joking, but I don't mean necessarily intentionally. Many times Vettel will gain from Rosberg fighting Ham and vice versa.
Imagine pit strategies for example, where he will have to cover both at the same time now, and they just happen to be both German too.
Which is good thing, btw! :)

Vettel's only goal is to be the top dog in F1. He couldn't care less about Nico's current struggles.

It's the same with every driver on the grid, just as you're saying.

I think it rather helps Hamilton at the moment...Just like last weekend I think Vettel and Rosberg might be more into fighting each other and cover their position (or trying to pass each other) in the pit stops rather than challenging Hamilton.
I think the Mercedes is still the overall better car but Rosberg dropped exactly that amount back that Ferrari is missing to the pace of Hamilton. As Hamilton has pole and Rosberg might try to get past Vettel early on I would not be surprised if Hamilton could cruise home again and Vettel and Rosberg destroying their chance to win in a battle for second...

Hamilton is the faster driver but he is no "no.1 driver". That means if Rosberg happens to be in front of him he does not need to hand over the victory to Hamilton just as Barrichello did in the past for Schumacher. But if Vettel will be a real challenge for the WDC Mercedes might change their mind and make Hamilton official No.1....Unless this scenario happens it does not make a difference...

I believe internally in the Mercedes team he is actually number 1. We are just being told a different story to keep us and the FIA happy.
