Just purchased this car and its on its way to Naples, Florida. Here's what I know so far

I would caution that if this the car I know, it has had more than the bumper painted. And there can't be too many with identical specs.

1 owner car with minor accident on carfax. Trueframe inspection shows no structure damage. Looks like front and rear bumpers have been repainted.

I remember that car from when it was in PA. Some in the mid Atlantic section might know the real story worth a try at least.

 

I am sure it will come out, looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. More importantly I am looking forward to receiving the car, she's on her way!

Might simply want a little bit of detail.
That's why they are called "bumpers"....

I had to redo my Cadillac three times in a year, none of them my fault....it happens.
One spray only lasted three weeks!

I'm not slandering the car, I'm simply extending some information that others might not be privy to; especially when it's definitely not as described and they may consider it under false pretenses.

I know it was in at least one or two accidents that were not simply fender benders. I've heard comments that the only thing it hasn't hit "is the lottery." I don't know specifics, but I've heard on several occasions, from informed sources, to know it didn't receive a front bumper spray because the meticulous owner saw a 0.01mm knick. I've seen it many times in action around town and on local rallies, it hasn't been pampered.

My suggestion would be for you and any prospective owners to do your due diligence. And also to respect honesty instead of being defensive and potentially misleading a buyer. One of the core competencies of this community is the access to this kind of valuable information. And if I'm being completely honest, your history here hasn't been 100% transparent, and I would hate for an enthusiast to feel any heartache in what should be such a fun, satisfying purchase.

If what you are saying is true how come it isn't in the car fax?

 

Lots of reasons. Carfax is simply a tool it doesn't track everything. Plenty of stories here about damaged cars not showing a thing on the report. And plenty more pristine cars showing damage or odo issues mysteriously.

 

Not all repairs are reported to carfax, hence the importance of ppi from a competent shop!
