Were there two RHD Rame Colorado cars? Was there one in Malaysia registered CP3 and one in Australia (which is now white)? I think 1121186 is the car in Australia or are they both the same car?

    Hi Robert,

There was only one RHD Rame Colorado LP400S (S2, low-body): #1121186, to Australia.

The poor car from Malaysia (now restored and repainted in another color) is a RHD Countach 5000S.
I will try to find the V.I.N. for you, if I can... Unless somebody here already knows it! :)

    Raymond,
Great information...although sorry to hear that my car was not a pace car.
You mentioned #214 running EE83883 but I think you meant to say EE93883....?

    Thanks

It is my understanding that LP400S #1121312 was the first "high body" car. Is this correct?

Yes, notted as such, primo rialzato.

Classic typo, sorry for the pace car story.
Is it correct that you shared pictures of #1121384 in this thread?

Marcel, I didn't forget anything, I've put everything together on my homepage, not more or less.
Also the conclusion was a working together of different persons, also Victor and others involved. Like always it wasn't a single person rather a combination of pictures, knowledge, memories and finally production list which made it possible to identify 3 out of the 4 pace cars of 1981.

The car pictured looks 100% orange/black to me, and brand new, no mirrors mounted yet. For me, this is #1120020 without a doubt.

Excuse my ignorance but does this mean that Lamborghini's own records state this?

Is this a recent find? if not then it's a shame this wasn't bought up a while back when the whole high body vs. low body debate was in full swing!

It's common knowledge that 1121312 is the first S3 High Body...

I doubt it's Strohm, it looks more like one of the UK Kits like Mirage.

200K for a bad replika, man you're nuts over there.
