Al, Thats not fair, you know the Daytona is my dream car. If no one wants it Ill take that one instead! HAA Rob V-12less
Kinda late to this party. I think I bought a set of six-spoke wheels from this Al character, he seemed pretty eccentric on the phone. In a good way perhaps. Anyway, I see some fabrication of the sheet metal underside of the car in this thread. I'm still missing the vaguely letter "K" shaped undertray at the front of the car, that hides the radiator hoses etc. Also missing one or more of the rubber service plugs of various shapes that fit into the underside sheet metal. Think I have duct tape over the openings now. Is this stuff available in repro? Thanks, GF
Al made the front "K" shaped undertray for my GT4 and it was nice quality. Just needed minimal trimming to fit perfect.
Assuming Al is interested in making more, what was the price on this ? Also have a fuzzy recollection Superformance repops these ? Thanks, GF
Well I'm confused (nothing unusual). My Euro 74 Australian delivered 75 (I bought new) has a fog light switch that operates the front lower fog lights - with the park lights on as well as with the headlights on. I have no rear red fog lights. Is this unusual?
So you have no passing high beam, when the headlights are OFF ? I don't know, if this is unusual for Australia. Maybe a conversion by law made by the dealer ? My car was a german delivery. in the mid 70s here in germany it was usual, that the cars only have had a rear foglight (red) and no front-foglights. Maybe my GT4 is dealer-modified ?
That's how my UK Euro GT4 is. No fear fog lights and I don't think I've seen any UK ones with original rear foglights. The foglight switch controls the front foglights.
Important: only ONE real foglight, because two could confound with the breake lights ! Picture ? please look at the picture posting #100

Oh you guys and your PERFECT GT4's. Though I long to make my car a little different, I am really digging your rides.
Well for us long time GT4 fans- it's about time people were lavishing some care and attention on these cars- Cannot tell you how many times the "undervalued" word has been used relating to these cars over the years. Other than a few of us nutcases here- NOBODY was restoring these to a high standard until very recently. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yup...I've had mine 34 years, and they were indeed way undervalued for quite a while...nice to see them finally coming back as "classics" now...thanks in no small part to people like you guys doing the amazing resto jobs on them.... Here's a car that's a little different though...(it's an old ad I found)...I wonder what it sold for and when??? Hatch & Sons Automotive LLC.
You and I think alike...the seats were the first thing I was yearning for...they look really nice....
hahaha...OK...I would go for all black, but otherwise I like the upgraded center inserts...but true, the rest of the interior is pretty flat...(and the seats are not)...
Yeah...my driver's seat definitely needs some TLC, so maybe that's why I'm eyeing up other possibilities...anyway when I'm sitting in it, I can't really see what it looks like anyway...(I put some leather treatment on it a few days ago, but I think maybe it needs some dye work)....
