C, come on man! Next time you're in the area, let me know.

Our offices used to be a textile mill from the early 1900's. There are many outbuildings and stuff which have been converted to condos. Ricambi is where the commissary was located, and it retains some of the huge old wooden beams and stuff from the original building. We are pretty much on the 'ragged' outskirts of downtown, which was quite industrial until the mid 1990's. I assume the place had several hundred workers in its heyday. Here's our place way back when: History - Indera Mills

Next time I will! I realized you were close when I started seeing the road signs. Hey...Daniel and Ricambi are close by. I'll be back. VIR is an East Coast jewel you need to race more than once. You guys are lucky to have such a beautiful facility. It is like racing in a national park.

I hopped on the chic-fil-a band wagon last night as well! Couldn't resist after the seeing the pic.

since when did Chic-fil-a make it out to SoCal?! Lived in Santa Monica, then Malibu for a number of years and chic-fil-a was unheard of! Except for one hidden little gem of a chick-fil-a in a mall near Redondo Beach. I would brave the drive from Malibu every now and again to get a chicken biscuit and sweet tea.

ok, back on topic...Robb, sounds like yet another awesome 355 adventure. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic! You'll have to let me know when you plan to be in town. Any particular destination/event/venue that will bring you to the ATL?

the only Chick Fila I knew of in LA (other than several in orange county) was in the heart of West Hollywood...corner of Sunset & Highland. which made for some interesting photo ops during their whole gay rights debacle ;)

Great to see Ricambi's site and to put a face to Daniel's name.
I also buy parts from Ricambi and their service to Spain is way beyond great.

Please explain what's with this chickafil thing?

Were you up there racing with VDCA by chance on the 10-12th?
I was there racing with BMWCCA that weekend...
I live in Atlanta but always make the trip at least once a year. My favorite track.

I was racing SCCA Majors race. This year I'm racing tracks on the east I have never seen before. I'm from Cali and on a plane right now to go race Daytona this weekend.

So I was meeting with a past F355 challenge owner in the area... He turned out to have QUITE the garage. One of his Ferrari's had won at pebble beach. He had a land speed record in the 355 at a local track and he had just restored this Fiat...

His (originally red) challenge car was run by Carlos Hank Sr by Ferrari of Houston. The car sold a year or so ago and is now silver and in Australia.

He had great stories and some amazing older Cadillacs and fords in the garage.

Afterward, I was doing some architectural photography at the Time Warner Cable Arena here in Charlotte.

Here's an iPhone pan of the inside...

    Skipp, good to know now...

Sorry I am already half way to Hilton Head...

We should have a directory for linking up with brothers on the road.

    Next time.

Sounds good. If you get a chance to hit Charleston, it's a great place.
