are we phishing? throw it out there hope to grab a bone.... private pm's with offers..... I thought an asking price was to be notated..... Not just an "Im thinking" Just sayin
Maybe.....I should start a "Thinking of buying," thread. After all, I almost always am - just don't know what, and I don't know how much I'd be willing to pay. Right now, I'm thinking about buying lunch.
I am sitting on the fence about selling the car. She's cheap for me to keep, but it might be better to get the car in the hands of somebody who wants to enjoy her. Right now I am storing the car at Penske-Wynn Ferrari Maserati. Cheers, Marc Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Chas, I'm honestly torn about parting with the car. The only thing I am sure about is staying away from the Strip with the Kentucky Derby and the fight going on today. I'm not fishing, and I would be glad to talk to you about the car if you PM me with your number or I can give you mine. Cheers, Marc
I haven't really posted one of these, but for me, I could be convinced to trade my 308 (I want to replace it, and a trade/dealer in and out) would exempt me from some taxes. Cash offer would need to be more significant ( I.E. Not "fair market") to compensate, and if someone threw out something vaguely interesting that would again provide tax benefits to a cash transaction, I would entertain it.
Marc I have the same car.... I would keep it all messing aside If it's not costing you anything stick her away for a few....
Everything is for sale. All you need is a buyer that you can agree on a price where neither party is happy.
Chas, When I bought this car, there were two 246 Dino's on the lot in Los Gatos that needed love. I should have bought both of them and had money left over. PM me with your number, I would like to talk to you if you have the time. Cheers, Marc
Yeah, agreed. These "thinking of selling" threads should be moved to their appropriate model specific sub forums. A for sale thread should have photos of the car, a description and a price. Everything else is a discussion, which shouldn't be held in classifieds.
I started a thinking of selling my 599 ad and sold my 599 to an Fchatter. If you don't like a thinking of selling ad, stop at thinking about responding to it. Just my $.02.
No offense to anyone, but this is not the first thinking of selling ad ever or even the only one this week, so I think the negative comments received on this thread are just from those who are fed up--- as it's just not cool. The moderators ought to step in. The classified section is for cars that are for sale. Anyone posting needs to think about what they want to do and then decide to sell before posting here. What if someone posts a thinking ad, and decides not to sell. It's not right raise interest w/o an earnest interest to sell, especially when there are others here that really want or need to sell. I think most would agree on that...
