I'm in the process of having a latch part made by a machinist. No I'm not. So the guy I'm talking about hasn't seen the part yet but says he can make anything that's why I was interested in how many people would want one. If he was going to make one he might as well make a dozen.
Ifd you can make this part I'd be interested. What happened to mine is a story from hell. Took the broken parts, including both almost complete latches, except one of the handles, to a local machinist a couple of months ago to see if he could make the part that broke. After a 5 week wait I went in to tell him to forget it and to get my parts back and guess what? He lost them! So now I'm f@#$ed! If you can make them I would definitely be interested.
Based on the picture, I sure I can make them but I need and example of an oem part. If you or someone else can provide an example I will gladly provide you with the first set of parts as a token of appreciation. Can anyone provide me with an oem piece. Even if it is broken? I'd be happy to work on this. Ron Frohock
