Yeah I understand. Btw, can anyone help me rob a bank? I don't want to do it for illegal reason I just like seeing a huge account balance for psychological reason.

This type of thing works great. I also removed all the mirrors from my house and put up pictures of George Clooney.

Had a pool guy, who was Italian, show up once in one like that. I laughed but he said with a serious look and a thick Italian accident, "The chick-ahhhs don't-ah knowwwwa. They thinka Fer-ra-reee"

It was the Fiero of Ferrari's :D

It's common knowledge that when you disconnect the one wire to disable the odometer that your car will never have to be repaired again. No miles...no repairs :)

That's awesome. Someday I'd like to do a documentary on people who own replicas and have convinced themselves it's legit. Could be an interesting look into the minds of people I don't normally connect with, however, this guy gets a pass:

Can't that wait until we're all feeling guilty for giving him grief?

I suspect that may take a while! :)

This post strangely reminds me of the scene in Kentucky Fried movie, when they show a guy dressed up as daredevil and about to do "one the riskiest and scariest things known to man". He then proceeds to go up to a group of black guys playing craps in the street and then yells NI****S and then runs down the street with the black guys chasing after him....

You should be proud of the mileage. It shows how much you enjoy your 308. I sold my 512BB with 82000 Km. Ferraris' are meant to driven.

Your cars may not have the correct mileage, ours do.

You should really stop posting, with every additional post you lower yourself further.

You no longer have to feel inhibited about driving your car. Regardless of the reading of the odometer anyone who reads this thread would believe that the mileage is already inaccurate and take that into consideration if you car was being sold. And now that you have posted, it will be here forever, until the end of time, for all to see. Furthermore, if you have tampered with the odometer what else have you tampered with? I figure you have devalued your car by 30 to 50%.

Alext.....here is another thought...If you disconnect the clock in the car, it will never know when 5 years has hit, and you won't have to do a timing belt change?

You have évery reason to. Think first. Then act. Have you been sitting in the sun for too long ? If so/if you can't stand the sun: wear a cap and sunglasses. Cool your brain with an icepack. Sell your Ferrari right now, it may still be worth something right now. Buy a Volvo, these cars do millions of miles and are impossible to distinquish from brand new. So perfect for guys like you..

10 years ago at Crystal Cove, a 512M owner asked me if I knew how to reconnect the odomoter :( Maybe that's a better way to ask ;)

Yup. Reinforces the need for all records showing consistency over time with mileage. My car may have little value but I am pleased that I have all records and my 72K miles appear real and consistent with all records.

I always wondered why some cars have engine rebuilds at lower miles when mine runs beautifully with good numbers and no smoke ever.

I think the sad truth is that many Ferrari owners over time have shown themselves to be crooks.

If a person has to worry about residual value they might be in the wrong car.
