The Scuderia finally gets rid of the personalitirpes and distractions, begins to get some results and this nonsense starts.

Bottas had some very strong drives in inclimate conditions, usually a sign of a good racer. He's also young and capable of continuing to improve. Are there better options, other's mentioned Ricci...wonder what Vettel would think of that after the year they shared?
You don't want someone young who will make mistakes (think Massa in early career with all the crashes at Sauber), but you do want someone just hitting their peak as a #2, doesn't mean they're the best on the grid, just that they're capable of winning when things go right and more importantly not losing through unforced errors. I think Bottas is a really wise choice, other factor we don't know about it car development and fit with Vettel's driving style, you want to develop the car in tandem to a single desired point if possible

Now I see why it's taking so long. He should ask for help to his father. Di Resta was so happy about him as a manager ;)

The old saying that a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client, surely applies to Lewis. I love it when somebody excels in one very narrow field (F1 driver) and then believes they are equally good at something totally unrelated (contract negotiation). Lewis may find that knowing his worth and getting it are two different things.

FWIW Vettel hasn't had a manager (ever) and negotiated himself to 50m USD.
