I have one from mid 2006 for one of my cars and tried to apply for another car in dec 2006 via the Ferrari website, but did not receive anything so would guess that Ferrari stopped around that time creating those certificates?
I would probably do it if i plan to sell my GT4 - which is very unlikely considering the fun i have driving it
I agree. Metallic too I think. I for sure want to go back to original. It will depend some on the quotes I get for a glass out bare metal paint job whether I can justify it. I know I won't get that same amount more for it than the cost to paint for a long time if ever. My decision might have to do some with if I find a very original blue 75 GT4 for a reasonable price it might make more sense to buy that and sell this one to someone who wants red. I've never even driven a GT4 yet, I hope I'm so in love with it I can't part with it.
Blu Dino Mettalic BTW I've got a couple of spots that could use a touch up. Any source for period colors? Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's the best shot of the color. Or we're you referring to the touch up? In any case. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool. I have never seen one that color in person but I'm sure will look good if I go back to the original color.
Mine is Blue Dino Metallica as well. It was the original colour altoughgh it wasrepainted in 1980 and retrimmed from Tan to Crema. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Argento Auteil con banderole nero (silver boxertrim) / pelle rosso (Leather red) Image Unavailable, Please Login
My Dino should be this color< but its resale red, probably repainted in the 80's sometime. If I evr repaint it will go back to the original color to match the Heritage Certificate.
What would this color look like, as mentioned on the document? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328/486593-who-owns-ferrari-308-gt4-2-2-09870-a.html
Looks like a color being discussed in a 365GTC/4 thread. I think they referred to it as Gainsborough.
Thanks for the inputs! I think this is the colour, that was first aplied to my car. And the colour that I am after, Atleast I like it! Since the factory documentation is not (Certificate of heritage document) easy to have nowdays, I must make these conclusions. Colour is not Argento Auteil, nor Grigio Ferro. Only original paint left in the car, is inside the door, and that is not good enough for scanning. Does somebody have more info of this colour? My car is waiting for paint. Maybe modern paintcode for todays known European/Worldwide paintsupliers? Thanks, Juha
