HOU Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

Sometimes it is hard to get the car in to get inspected.

Also, the last time I paid my registration, I never received my sticker.

 

Common sense would also be to have a SHOW car, trailered to the event...

 

I was only pointing out (thinking out loud) about those two things and was not judging, the car is very cool. You are correct Nico because as the car "sits", and being born and raised in Houston, the quality of our streets would "eat that car alive". Imagine the traffic jam that it would cause going over train tracks or trying to avoid pot holes.

There is one last flaw I spotted and if anyone gets it right I'll let you buy me lunch at Hooters.

PS, The car should be legal as it is unless something was done that would effect it passing emissions testing. Lest we forget that a inspection sticker is no longer effecting ones aerodynamics.

And finally this lowly 2004 base model coupe. It even has stock wheels! But he's running the Underground Racing full 'R' package with just over 1000hp to wheels - on pump gas! Also the only manual transmission Lambo there.

That is special. They've held it so irregularly over the past year that other organizations 'filled the vacuum' so to speak, and simply started other ones.

I know the C&C at vintage park had a number of issues the last couple of years.

Gets real frustrating when you rearrange your schedule for a Saturday morning only to find the event cancelled with no reason given for doing so.

 

That was an absolute cluster. Pretty much the least amount of enjoyment I have ever had at a C&C.

 

For this and many other reasons I refuse to support such poorly run show. Ride N Shine & Supercar Saturday fill the void very nicely.

The Scuderia Society C&C conflicted with Supercar Saturday. Otherwise I would have gone there.

 

So....when and where is the next quality meet/gathering and who is going to let me drive their "other car"? Can't say G is not a comedian, right?

 

I would agree. Although I am a fan of wide body cars, the Liberty Walk cars absolutely destroy the proportions of the 458 while adding nothing in the way of enhancement for the car.

Just my bitter 2 cents.

 

I saw a fluorescent yellow SLR convertible on Fondren. I don't know if I could ever drive a car that color, but it looked really cool.
