Take a look at the asking price for this black 16m - $399k Cars for Sale: 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider in Lake Park, FL 33403: Convertible Details - 399131006 - Autotrader
this car has been for sale for some time starting off in the mid 250s now its still hasnt sold now 399k crazy also blk is not a strong resale as what ive been told by dealers
Driving Emotions is well-known to be a dealer with crack-pipe pricing. There are cars in their inventory that they've sat on for 4+ years (e.g. a Monterey Blue LP640).
First DE asking price I saw for ZFFKW66A990168938 was $249k but if the market for modern classics is raging and your car hasn't sold for a year and a half then why not ask for $400k? OTOH, what compares to a 16M? That is, what other car is its comp in the marketplace? The 458 Speciale Aperta is the only one I see and my guess is that it will take $450k to buy one in the USA. This will pull 16M prices up with them.
i agree 16 m will go up but not from 225/250 k to 399 in a matter of months hey if the dealers and sellers can get it run to the bank
It's pretty clear 16m stands for 16 million hagaha. At the current rate they are increasing we should be hitting 16million with 5 years
love to have a 16m as my next ferrari but when a 458 spider can be had 250/260 and 16m are asking 299/399 hard to pass on the 458
You could also compare the 599 GTO and F12 and say the same thing. However the driving experience between the two cars is very different. Taking nothing away from the fantastic F12 (and 458). Each car offers something different and it comes down to how you value the raw event experience vs the refined one. That combined with the rarity is why people will pay 100sK more for the "older and less refined" 599GTO.... Personally.. I would take the "older beast" unless I was putting a priority on comfort and borderline daily drivability. ... At the same price it would be an absolute no-brainer... But you won't see that opportunity again...
It is just and only a matter of personal taste. A 458 Spider is the newer car ... even a bit more relaxed but as fast as a Scuderia/16M ...so if you want that ... go for it ! Remember: it is not the seller who makes the price, it is the buyer nowadays As a matter of long term investment ? A 458 will drop immensely .... becaus of numbers produced ...
Try both if you get the chance before deciding, you will see why they are priced differently - it's not just down to the volume produced.
driven both 458 is my choice for driving and enjoyment.currently have a 430 with racing seats and totally in love with the car but 458 will be my next one ,yes 16 m will hold and rise in price 458 will drop but at end of the day 458 will be my choice.16m is an awsome car and rare for sure

FERRARI F430 Spider Scuderia 16M, Occasion, Benzin, 7'500 km, CHF 369'000.- - AutoScout24 16M prices skyrocket
Ferrari Los Angeles just sold a Nero 16m with 8,000 miles. Asking price was $299k and it sold for $292 last week. It was on EBay and then got pulled down so I called the dealership to ask why. The salesman told me there was a buyer considering it and the red one on the East coast (would be the one in Florida with gold rims also at $299k), but they preferred the black. But before he decided, someone else came and bought the black one.
