    Nailed it! One of my faves. Exactly like a phenomenon baby! Great lyrics. Great beats. I think it's actually better than The Message. Glad you didn't learn what it was about until later. Mid 80s was scary in NYC with the crack epidemic. People dropping like flies. Violence and crime way outta control...T

    This I like. Gotta find a few more of their songs to listen to on YouTube.

    The 5 Finger Death Punch was a bit too "industrial" for my middle-aged ears! :)
    However, I did like their take on "House of the Rising Sun" - very Mad Max video.

    Now, I gotta hop on trying some of the other recos out…T

    Yeah, I liked Veruca Salt (they did a song called Seether) back in the day. Proving once again that the ladies can rock out like the guys. I'm kind of feeling an ladies of old school hip-hop mood coming on!
